How Do I Remove the footers?

I'm Proud and Impressed about what Lussumo is given us, but the footer which reads "Vanilla 1.1.4 is a product of Lussumo. More Information: Documentation, Community Support." which people who are visiting the site are distracted to follow those links, if i want to remove the footer or customise it, how do i do it?

    There are ways of removing it which are dotted about this forum if you wish to put the time in to find them. I would hope of course that you also put the time in to recognise the hard work which has gone into the software elsewhere on your site... Aside: if the content on your page is so dull, or your users so easily distracted, to want to follow the vanilla links - what's the point?!
