stupid question

This may be stupid, but I can't seem to figure out how to remove users once they have registered. Is it possible?

    I wouldn't recommend using it; if they've posted anything it will cause havoc and errors. The best solution is to demote them to a role that cannot log in.

    how do you demote users? I can't find a list of users.

    'Search' tab. Type in anything that may identify the person you want to ban. Or nothing at all. Click the 'users' radio option. Click search. Once on your victim ::ahem::, once on your user's profile, click 'Change role' on the left.

    Oh, and you can get to their profile much more quickly just by clicking on their name.
