Fatal, Non-recoverable error

I just installed Vanilla, no problems, everything seemed to go fine until I tried to log in. Then I got this message. Error Message The "Menu" control referenced by "Menu" does not appear to exist. Affected Elements ObjectFactory.CreateControl(); I tried again, and was able to log in that time, but never could get beyond the next screen where you choose discussions or categories. Now it won't let me even log in. I know the permissions are correct--I checked them file by file. Not sure what to do next.

    Try re-uploading everything in the library folder... you might want to compare whats up there to what will be replacing it to make sure rouge code didn't get added to your pages.

    Thanks you much. That took care of signing in and viewing the initial categories and discussions page. But it won't let me update anything. It says there was a problem authenticating the post data. I'll put this in a separate post as well so it shows up on the list.
