added extension now site goes to vanilla setup page? (stuff displayer)

I added the Stuff Displayer extension to my site and now it goes straight to the vanilla setup page. how can i reverse this process?

any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

    try forcing your page to load by typing it in the url: http://yoursite.com/settings.php or find the file in your vanilla, conf/extensions.php and look for and remove the line that says 'Stuff Displayer' to temporarilly disable that extension.
