No Settings Tab

I tried to install the vanilla forum twice but I don't seem to get access to the settings tab. Whenever I sign in the system still shows that I am not logged in. I set the permissions as required. Thanks for your help!

What have you been setting the cookie domain and path as?

Thank you! I used "www.mydomain.com" for the cookie path.

Cooke path or domain? They're separate settings.

Well you should have ".domain.com" for the cookie domain and "/" for the cookie path.
