Subcategories: is it scalable?
Has anyone tried to have a lot of sub-categories (when I say "a lot", I mean thousands)? How slow did this become?
P.S.:
From looking at the code, I got an impression that all of the statistics are calculated every time when the list of categories is displayed, which will probably be very slow if this piece of code will go through 1000s of categories.
