how to hide dot-prefix files?

Hi, I have a blog (Dotclear 2), and when I upload pictures, they are uploaded in this directory : http://yann.universfantastiques.org/blog/public/ So I've just installed filebrowser to allow me to link to a directory of pictures. The problem is that my blog automatically creates thumbnails of my pictures, which begin with a dot. I don't think it would be easy at all to tell filebrowser to use these thumbnails... but at least I would like to hide them! I've put ".*" is the list of hidden files (in the _config.xml), but it doesn't work. So I guess this is in index.php, but I couldn't find where is the code that hides files begining with an underscore, to do the same with dot-prefix files... Any ideas? Thanks

Just look at line 1078 of the main PHP file (index.php).
