mod_rewrite and extension.php query strings
My Community Moderation extension uses extension.php with PostBackValue to display its "about" page. This works great with normal URL writing, but the mod_rewrite method falls apart. You get the URL http://servername/extension/AboutCommunityModeration/ but the .htaccess included in the Friendly URLs add-on doesn't translate this URL to a PostBackValue query.
Is there a standard way to go about this or are extension developers just haphazard about extension.php and mod_rewrite compatibility?

Perhaps it would be better to pull all this scattered friendly URLs info out of the forums and into the FAQ.
