Would like people.php to exist within main shell of forum

Was wondering if there is a way to keep my login screens (people.php) and all the variations within the main template look instead of having it jump to a new area without the banner at the top. Is it possible? Was messing with the 'DirectMenuSignIn' add-on, but it's not really achieving what I need it to. Thanks!

    To add a banner at the top of people.php just echo the banner code from /themes/people_banner.php
