SMF -> Vanilla Converter

I've been trying for a very long time now to migrate to Vanilla from our old SMF forum. Has anyone got a working SMF -> Vanilla conversion script? There was one suggested at this topic: http://lussumo.com/community/discussion/3207/2/smf-vs-vanilla-any-thoughts-/#Item_37 But the links are all dead. I tried a SMF -> phpBB -> Vanilla conversion, but was unsuccessful. There is a Vanilla -> SMF conversion script that is supposed to work fairly well, maybe somebody can base a conversion script of off doing the reverse of that? I'd be willing to PayPal some money to somebody who can provide a migration script.

    Unfortunately I can't help on this matter, but questions like this turn up often enough that I think it would be good for some kind of official effort to be put into convertors for a bunch of the more popular forums out there. This would only help the adoption of Vanilla. vBulletin, phpBB, SMF, punbb/fluxbb, bbPress would probably see the large majority of people wouldn't it?
