Meta Tags and Description

Hi Guys, Not sure if this is an active area of development - but for SEO purposes I really need help on getting the site META tags and description working ? i.e. 1) For the main site (i.e. Title and Description) 2) For posts titles and description (extract 160 characters from the post) I have tried the MetaTags plugin but it doesn't work and seems to have stopped development. This is pretty critical for SEO management etc, so wondering if someone can help ? Thanks! ANdy

have you tried nuggets? it seems to allow this kind of meta tags

use the seo plugin and modify the default.php in that plugin file to insert your own metatags. It's a snap
