How to add a streaming (embedded) MP3 section to your Vanilla community.

If you want to have a music section on your site with streaming music, this is the way I did it.

1) install the "Page Manager" add-on which can be found here

2) activate the Page Manager extension and create a new tab entitled "Music" or whatever you want.

3) follow the instructions for the embeddable mp3 player here

4) paste the html code in the Music tab you created, using page manager again

  • Raize, that really looks great!
  • Definitely a great addition! This technique can be used for pretty much any third party content that is embeddable (ie. google maps, shoutbox, etc.)
  • Is there an updated streaming mp3 player since this one was posted? This one seems really long to load. I have cable internet and I had to leave the page because it was taking forever to load
