Password Reset

After installing the password reseet add in I get the following message when I go to the Forum: Parse error: parse error, unexpected T_OBJECT_OPERATOR in /home/content/J/A/N/JANEBK/html/Vanilla-1.1.4/extensions/PasswordReset/default.php on line 83 Any idea how to fix this?
