Email HTML encoding! * URGENT *

Hey guys! i´m going mad trying to fix the HTML encoding problems in emails vanilla send to users. Im trying to figure out how to add ® &aacuote;, etc to the emails... Thanks in advance!!!

  • Edit /languages/English/Email_* ? I wasn't aware there were encoding problems, but those files will let you change the text.
  • Yeah, I know that. But when I change the text on that files and put something like ® in the email appears something like: � Why is that? I tried to fix using this code tables: http://www.thesauruslex.com/typo/eng/enghtml.htm but no results. Thanks
  • I had a quick look at the email class. It uses the configuration charset of your installation. Then, if you check that the file you modified is saved with the same charset useb by your installation (default to UTF-8 on recent install), you should be OK

    ... Except that older version of Outlook are buggy on utf-8 if there are several encodings in the same mail, which should not be the case here.
