turn off bbcode temporary, noparse, with BBCodeParser?

I want to do a post to my user on how to use bbcode - how do I enable so that I can write out the tags, eg. [b]bold text[/b], so they can see how it should be written, without having the bb-code executed, and without turning of bb-code for the whole post? I am using the extension BBCodeParser. I seen the tag noparse used for this.
