Can anyone tell me what this means?

"#2 - Make sure you set the upload folder to chmod 777."

It's part of the 'additional instructions' listed on the YUI Editor Add-On Info Page in the add-ons section...

Thanks,
Mark

chmod is a unix command to change the permissions of a file or folder. If you're accessing your site through FTP the translates in to "make it world writable". See Octal notation of file system permissions.
  • so basically make the upload folder (wherever that is, I can't find it) writeable....

Now all I got to do is figure out how to get a default.php file for the YUI editor and maybe I can try it out...

I hope it is a little more useable than the TinyMCE editor after going through all this to get it working... :-)

    Thanx again,
    Mark
