WordPress issue: nested categories wrong paging

edited February 2009 in Vanilla 1.0 Help
Hi, The wordpress blog has categories nested in 2 levels. Posts can be posted either in top-level categories (blog->parcat->post), or in the child-level categories (blog->parcat->childcat->post). When I view any of the top-level categories, the paging links on the second page malfunction: they still think we are on the first page. So, instead of providing links to the 1st and 3rd pages, they only offer link to the 2nd page, which is current. Here is a link (blog is in rus.): http://berg.com.ua/basic/page/2/ The link above posts list says "older posts"; hovering over it will show it links to itself. How do I make the blog provide correct links to appropriate pages? Thanks
