Is there a way to have an overview of each category show up on the home page?

I'm working on creating my first Vanilla forum and I have a few questions for everyone. There's a forum I frequent called Boagworld that does what I'm looking to do. I contact them and they told me it was an add-on but couldn't tell me which one it was.

I was hoping someone else could?

Ah yes, the aptly titled Discusion Overview is what you're looking for. My personal favorite as well.
