Log in problems

I've just installed Vanilla (version 1.1.5a), uploaded everything to the CGI folder on my web space, run the setup with no problems and the database gets created OK. When I browse to the site I initially get the log-in page, log in is accepted but it then goes to the discussion page with Discussions/Catagories/Search tabs but says "Not signed in" over on the right. I'm pretty sure I've changed all the permissions on the necessary files and I'm at a loss to understand why it won't log me in. Any ideas?? Dave

    OK - it was obviously an RTFM problem - sorry!!! The problem was the cookie domain. I clearly didn't understand it's intention and set it to my own domain. If I'd left it as default there would have been no problem. All sorted now. Dave
