hey everyone ! ok , I just installed vanilla , and installed my first addon (subcategories) (it was very easy comparing to phpbb mods installation , wiiiiiiw .. no comment ^^) so now , I tried to migrate my old forum , (I haven't finished the website , but I have more than 1,500 registered user so .. ) You'll tell me that I must do a search , like sportsgirl lol http://lussumo.com/community/discussion/5367/phpbb-migrator/#Item_33 but I read this subject , and I downloaded the migrator given by bjrn , and tried it .. I read also 200 comment from 380 comments written in here http://lussumo.com/community/discussion/145/1/v02-phpbb-migrator/ and I downloaded the script given by outbreak in the first post and used it , also , I downloaded the script given by bobthecow in the last post and used it .. I got the same errors .. every time .. I have a phpBB 3.03 .. another thing , that you must know , in other migrator scripts I used in the past (for example from phpBB to punBB or from phpBB to SMF) , never the installation program asked me for the database password .. I just entered localhost , the data base name and username .. why I tell you this ? simply because I forgot the password of the user when I installed the phpBB board .. so , what I did , I created another user in the same database , having all permissions , and I used it in the conversion .. I think it' the same thing and there is no problem no ?? I read in the documentation here http://lussumo.com/docs/doku.php?id=vanilla:migration:phpbb that I must instamm vanilla in the same database of the phpBB , so I did it .. and I don't know where the problem is .. here is the path of migrator , try to convert and you'll see the error message http://www.youtips.net/community/migrator/ thank you for helping me , and accepting me as a new member in this community , I really really loved the software , and more than any other thing , loved this community , the vanilla attitude !

    I just loaded vanilla and after I sign in everything I attempt to do with personal, settings, etc. I get the same error below Some problems were encountered There was a problem authenticating your post information. Can someone please help

    wait , just one question , is the migrator I used only for phpBB2 ? and there is no phpBB3 migrator yet ?
