New vanilla based site and theme, what do you think?

Just launched a new site on Vanilla and created a quick theme for it. http://www.petsloud.com For the theme i did not change very much a content part and structure.. Made real looking tabs for the menu and styled a bit of the general look. Just got into Vanilla and see its potential in designing and customizing although the default theme is pain to get the idea about all the ellements. Would be interesting to know what people think about it...

    I like it.. Very nice.. The only thing is that the white letters are hard to read on the lime green register and log in buttons... Would be nice to know what all you had to play with to do that.. I'm just now learning CSS (will be moving on to php and MySQL immediatey afterwards) How long did it take?... Hopefully, themes in the new version will be easier to figure out for dummies like me.. I'm hoping all the stuff that needs to be edited to customize the look will all be in a a single style sheet or three, all in one folder, and well commented... Anyways.. Looks great!
