Microsoft Frontpage & Vanilla - Compatible?

I'm a newbie, and not totally tech savvy, but I would like to add a Vanilla forum to my existing website which was created with Microsoft Frontpage. Before I load it on my site, I wanted to ask if I need to worry about Vanilla effecting my frontpage extensions? Does anyone have any experience or knowledge about this?
