I'm trying to figure out how to set the vanilla forum to open automatically when someone goes to my domain (worldchangeforum.org) without using an automatic redirect - there is some lag time even when the redirect is set to '0' resulting in a high bounce rate when people visit worldchangeforum.org but not when they click on a link that's worldchangeforum.org/forum/...

how can I do this?

    just install vanilla in your root directory..

    How do I do that? I take everything out of the /forum/ folder and put all vanilla files in the root directory - right?

    Awesome. I figured it out - needed to change some stuff on the /config/settings.php and now it's working great. Thanks!
