Hey guys, really hope you can help me with this

Right now, my urls are showing the root directory of the forum:
A) http://talksfu.sslpowered.com/insuranceforum/

But I'm trying to get it to show like this:
B) http://insuranceforum.com/

I have already forwarded url B) to url A) in my domain control panel like I usually do on my other sites (read: Wordpress)

From the Vanilla Application Settings I then changed the "Web Path" to B)

This breaks the images in my forum and results in only the text being displayed.

At this point I took a look at the conf/settings.php file but I don't know exactly which urls I should change from A) to B)

Please please help me. I really need to do this and I'm scared of breaking my forum.

  • In order for you forum to simply be inusranceforum.com you can't upload a directory of the forum. What you need to do is, open up the folder, hit CTRL+A and paste that into your FTP client. That way /index.php will be your homepage.
