Display the contents of a static page in a category instead of the list of discussions

Hey there,
I am wondering if it is possible to make a category display a predesigned page instead of the usual list of discussions in that category. I would like to make it so when you click on a specific category in my forum it displays a page with fixed information for user reference ie a html or php page that I designed. If anyone knows how to do this that would be awesome. Thanks

Not exactly what you want, but you would mostly just have to change the links to be displayed in the category list instead of the header tabs.

If no one creates a plugin similar to this for Garden/Vanilla2 I'll probably give it a try when I end up updating my forum.
