Homepage 404

So I have Garden and Vanilla installed in the root directory. Everytime I go over to domain.com/ it gives me a 404 not found error, but if I go to domain.com/discussions, it works. What's going on here. I tried re-installing it, and it keeps on doing that.

    Sounds like a problem with routing. If you go to Dashboard > Routes, what does it have defined next to "DefaultController"?
