Any impact of temporarily increasing character limit?

Hi,

I'm trying to have a big post with the rules of the forum (>5k characters), but I dont see any need of increasing the limit for everyone. Can I change it to, lets say 10000, post my comment/discussion and then reduce the global limit back to 5000 without any adverse effect on my large post?

    Well anyone posting more than 5000 characters at the same time will get away with it, but i'd imagine the chances are slim. I can't imagine any other affects. Its only a check on insert.
