Upload error, Attachments 2.1

I have recently installed the addon attachments 2.1 and it appeared to be working fine, however when I tried to upload an xls file I got the following error message:-

You are not allowed to upload (********.xls) the requested file type: application/vnd.ms-excel

What am I doing wrong?

Just discovered how to fix it. I've edited the default.php file in the Attachments extension folder to include vnd.ms-excel files with the extensions xls or XLS.

I'm starting to enjoy this. :-)
