Confusion regarding User Roles/Permissions and Activities
- Why do "Comments" and "Discussions" fall under the "General," and not under "Conversations" and "Vanilla"?
- Why does "Activity" not have not have a "View" option? Currently, anyone who comes to a Garden site, can view activity. It seems to me that there should be the ability to hide this from non-logged in users, or to remove "Activiy" entirely.
Tangentially, I'm finding the "Activity" concept a bit confusing. In addition to activities taking place on the site, you also have the ability to post activities under your own profile, as well as other's profiles. It seems similar to the Facebook Wall, but the fact that you can post a message in a discussion, in the activity wall, or in a conversation leaves we wondering which is the appropriate option, and why they are different.
