Hi I downloaded vanilla thinking it would look like this theme but cant see it.

Is this theme available?

    Yep, thought so to.

    Seems a bit weird that neither the theme nor the plugins and functions in the online version is avaliable in the downloaded version o.o

    Its not weird at all, as this forum runs on the not yet released vanilla 2. You can get hold of vanilla 2 via github however it is not complete. The theme on this site all all the functionality is standard in vanilla 2.
