Excluding topics in certain categories

edited September 2010 in Vanilla 2.0 - 2.8
On my forums, there is a category called "Rubbish" for all horrible posts and topics to be moved there. Is there a way to exclude them from the main listing, as seen at http://theocas.net/discuss/index.php?p=/ ?
I don't want to promote my horrible posts and encourage everyone to read them.

Uh sure, except my way hides it from EVERYWHERE, even the rubbish forum, where they are supposed to be shown >_>
Anyways, I can't recall excactly, but it was in /apps/vanilla/views/ and then something that listed the topics, and then I think helper_functions.php. I added a simple check to see if the forum it is in has the word Rubbish in it, and if it does, it returns.
  • I need some way of just checking if I'm on the front page, then I could make it work.
