Searching on this site

The searching functionality of this site really needs to be improved... posts from 2006 are completely useless, and there's no way to alter the search settings so you inevitably have to ask the same questions that you know have been asked before.

    Even if the search results were ranked from newest to oldest without any algorithmic sorting would be a big help for now

    It's frustrating when I'm trying to find out how things are supposed to work in Vanilla 2 (vs. what I'm observing), and all of my searches match old/irrelevant posts.
