Can addons for Vanilla 1 be used in Vanilla 2

I was wondering if I could use addons (like "Attachments") made for Vanilla 1 in Vanilla 2 installation or it will make my world collapse?

    Vanilla 1 add-ons will not work in 2 without some modification.

    have you checked out "fileupload" plugin instead? it's made for vanilla2

    Raize, I have and I installed it in my Vanilla2. There is just a list of files and no thumbs or options to insert it into content... However, you got me thinking about it and now I see that I can upgrade all those functions with some extra jquery code...
