Comment box - page scrolls infinitely

Hi,
I have installed and running Vanilla 2.0.16.
Its fantastic!
But there is an issue - I have looked in these forums but found no mention.

When my users, in IE, click 'write comment' the page scrolls forever.
You can't stop it, and can't click submit because you can't get the end of the page.

Any suggestions, please?

    No-one else had this?

@richhorn Probably you should first update to the newest version of vanilla, 2.0.17.8.

Second, I don't experience such behavior when browsing my forum under IE7. Which version of IE are you (and your users) using? Is there probably any error mentioned in the JavaScript Error console? ...

    Thanks for your answer.

    I have updated to 2.0.17.8.

The behaviour is still the same in IE8.
I have JS error display enabled but no errors show.
The page just keeps loading the comment box forever.

In IE7 - I hadn't tested this version before - the behaviour is different.
You can write into the comment box - but if you click 'Write Comment' IE freezes up completely.
My users, I suppose, are using various versions but I have not confirmed this.
I don't get any JS errors reported, but then IE crashes so I wouldn't.

You would have to get a user account to write comments, and so see the issue.
Please do feel free to do so - I appreciate your help.

If CLEditor plugin is enabled, try to disable it.
IMO, it interact badly with IE.

    Yes, spot-on.
    CLEditor disabled and issue solved.

Many thanks both of you for your time and input.
