Dangit! I just went to all the trouble of enabling the Facebook, Twitter, OpenID, and Google logins, only to find out that they completely bypass the "Approval" registration method and immediately grant access to the user.
If "Approval" is set as the registration method, why isn't the user put into the "awaiting approval" queue for verification?
And if this is not a mis-feature, why don't the settings page in the various connecting apps indicate that it only works with "Basic" registration? :-(
