A new designer on the scene

Hey, I'm new to Vanilla Forums and it looks like a great piece of software! I'd like to start designing for the platform and I was wondering if there is any docs on how to do so and is it fairly easy in terms of the file structure and such etc...? Basically is it complicated or easy to get into?

I will say I'm comfortable in coding in HTML and CSS and I'm good at Photoshop so the skills are already there, just wondering if the software is 'designer friendly'?

    Its very designer friendly infact. You can do a lot with only CSS.

    I've customised our Vanilla install extensively, and I only learned CSS 3 days ago. With your skill base I think you'll find that you can do a huge amount without touching the PHP code.
