I came up with a enhanced Feed Discussion plugin that allows user to select the Category into which the Feeds for a particular URL go to rather than going to root Category.
i dont know if anyone requires that or how to post it in plugins.
Please Help.

    Awesome!
I'll alert @Todd maybe he can help set up a gitHub account for you.
Posting the file in addons is a bit tricky, let's see if we can get your plugin hosted on gitHub first.

I highly recommend getting set up with git and github. It is an amazing tool for source control and making tweaks to an open source project like ours.

Github actually has the best tutorials to help you out. If you get set up on github let me know and I'll get feed discussions copied to our addons repo.

General question, when I first installed vanilla v2.0.17 (18th sep 2011) I think, I wanted to setup an rss feed of all categories (I didnt know at the time, that/if, there was any such feed avail), but, I saw that each categorie had an Rss feed, which I used to combine, using a program called 'pipes' into one feed. http://www.rssmix.com
Anyway, the question is, now im using the newest version 2.0.18RC2 and I have custom themed my application, I no longer see individual category rss links/buttons.
were they removed in later versions?

Here is the feed created by combining all the individual category feeds avail at the time http://www.rssmix.com/u/2611727/rss.xml

This may be of help to people with earlier versions?
