Registration and roles

My new users shoud be granted access immediately, so I did choose "basic". But actualy they don't get any role at registation, I have to put them manually in the role "member". How can I fix this?

    Browse to /role/defaultroles and set the default role for members.

    Thanks, that worked :-) Where is this documented? I didn't find it...

    When you don't have a default role set up there should be a warning when you go to roles & permissions.
