How to favorite a post without the Voting plugin?

If I disable the Voting plugin on this theme (Vanlix), is there a way to favorite the posts? I don't see those stars any more.

Must be the theme. I dont use the voting plugin and i have fully functoning stars....

Yes, it was the theme. I had to copy the images folder from the application defaults and put it under Vanlix theme's design folder, to get the stars back.
