iPad or iPhone File Upload

Can this be done? Using the normal File Upload plugin, can the pictures be uploaded into the forum using an iPhone or iPad or would it require something else like a native iOS app that integrates with the forums? The reason I'm asking is to find out if people can upload photos from their phones or tablets to the forum this way.

Can't be done with Mobile Safari, so you'll need an app.
