Is Codecademy.com related to Vanilla?

I was browsing for javascript tutorials, jumping from page to page and landed at Codecademy...

Somehow the site feel so familiar, aside from the command console i find everything else about it is so Vanilla-ish. With the badges, the layout, the profile page, the avatar, etc.

Is there a way to know if a site is built on Garden or Vanilla?

Is any of Vanilla dev involved in Codecademy project?

It's not related, but I think foursquare set the visual standard for badges and we are all following in their footsteps.

yes... if you look at the response header on any request that comes from the garden framework it will/should have a property such as this:

    X-Garden-Version: Vanilla 2.1a19

The one above is from this site. As you can see they are running 2.1a19 on this forum.

  • neat... :)

    nice to meet you again.
