Change homepage URL/name of forums

in Vanilla 2.0 - 2.8

When I go to forums homepage the URL is /vanilla/index.php?p=/ how do I make it so that it resolves to /forums?

    What folder name did you install Vanilla in?

    i just uploaded the vanilla folder to the root so its /vanilla (folder name vanilla)

    1. upload vanilla folder to your root (ex : www.domain.com/vanilla)

    2. rename the vanilla forlder to forum (after that you will see www.domain.com/forum)

    3. now you can run install process

    Well I've already installed the forums in the vanilla folder will I have to reinstall to do this?

    You can rename the folder, delete the ini files from the cache folder, change the config and it should come up,
