Can I use Vanilla fro free using my own hosting?

I was Googling for it, but I'm not sure anymore as the homepage says "Free Download" (not simply "Free")? 
I want to use OpenSource Vanilla script and use it with my own WP installation.

Thank you, do you know I can make it work with http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/vanilla-forums/ ? Because I have vanilla on my localhost/vanilla, but can't make it work with WordPress. I kow there's some way to embed but latest tutorial is old and many plugins (including embedding one) doesn't exist: http://vanillaforums.com/blog/help/how-to-integrate-vanilla-wordpress-plugins-and-widgets/ Are there any recent tutorials about Vanilla under WP?

I believe the Embedding plugin was superseded with functionality built into the core. After installing Vanilla, look on your dashboard for a menu item about embedding.
