How to widen main panel/body in default Vanilla theme to support 728 wide ad
Hi:
I want to widen the main panel/body in the default Vanilla theme to support 728 wide ad. Presently the 728 wide ad extends into the right side bar.
Any help is greatly supported!
Thank you.

these are the main sections you can edit in you custom.css theme file
body-this controls the whole body of the page #Head-where the banners/logo/menu go #Body-section with content and panel #Content-the main area for the discussions #Panel-big button/boxes/signin/register/etc #Foot-the bottom of the page
You can edit the #Content to be width:728px if your add is going in the content. Why not resize the add? Where is the add going to go?

I decided to add my 728 wide ads to default.master.php at top and bottom of body, as you can see at http://www.obamacareforums.com. By the way, I cannot resize my ads because I'm using Google AdSense. They have 728x90 or 468x60 banners for these areas. Thanks very much for your insight!
can't see it , but whatever works for you...
Hmmm, you don't see the large banner ads centered at the very top and very bottom of the pages?
nope .. sorry where did you add them and how? maybe a screenshot of the php would help...
See attached screen shot of site showing ad at very top. Maybe you need to clear your cache/force reload from server?
yea I have caches disabled so , no, I only see a google search bar at the bottom on Safari.
it may be because of ad block , if you can see it and it works for you then it's all good
