To be precise, "this" is email notifications being sent out to people who only have the "NewDiscussions" email notification set. This problem was described in this discussion too. And the line concerned is 785, not 765.
Using version 2.0.18.10 and the “double email bug” persists with the following settings:
It appears @dneary ’s edits have passed into the core, but the issue is still there.
