404 error when loggin in

My forum was working perfectly for months when all of a sudden it stopped working.

It brings up the main index just fine, but when you click on any link or if I try to log in, I get a 404 error.
There were zero changes made to my site.
Can someone please provide me with some direction. Thank you in advance.

check your .htaccess file and see if you have the right thing in there you might need to specify /forum in the rewrite url part instead of /
