Vanilla constantly logging me out

Vanilla is logging me out after every action. I log in, click any discussion, dashboard, comment url, anything at all, and I'm asked to log in again. As far as I can tell, this first started after I enabled Rewrite URLs in the conf/config.php. I'm using the default .htaccess file with my base rewritten (/forum).
I don't see any of these changes as something that would break the login cookies. Any help is appreciated.
