Error message on applicants approval screen

I've received this message on the applicant approval section
"Fatal error: Maximum execution time of 30 seconds exceeded in /home/vahistor/public_html/unknownnolonger/forum/library/core/class.form.php on line 1301"

The admin applicant screen has also switched to a different style.

    how many applicants do you have?

    maybe you have thousands of spammers.

    if so, you might try cleanser plugin.

    if you do have lots of spam applications

    you get botstop and modify it for registration approval

    and use this -
    http://vanillaforums.org/addon/registrationrestrictlogger-plugin

    i guarantee it will cut down the load, especially if you add patterns and problem ips.

    and you also might try banapplicant.

    Thanks, Yeah we had a backlog of spammers(1088) in the application field. We deleted them all and now it's much more manageable. We'll look into botstop too.
