Add Trailing Slash After # In Embed URL

I was wondering if it was possible to add a trailing slash (/) after the hashtag in the embed URL that my original forum is redirecting to.

Let me explain this...
My forum is located at forum.mydomain.com - it's got the force remote URL option checked so it's redirecting to the embedded version within my Wordpress install at mydomain.com/theforum - however, the original forum is passing the URL to Wordpress without the trailing slash after the hashtag so the embedded version always redirects to the embedded forum homepage.

So whereas the actual embbedded forum URL should be: http://mydomain.com/theforum#/entry/sigin it's actually: http://mydomain.com/theforum#entry/signin which is just redirecting to the embedded forum homepage.

Any help? Sorry I couldn't explain it too well!
