Side panel ignores post limit

I've installed this mod on the latest version of Vanilla 2.0 and it works, but the side panel that displays the most popular discussions keeps adding more and more discussions, ignoring the limit of 5 that I set in the settings.

can you post a screenshot and the plugin version.
it's just an approximation - but the new version should help.
Version 2.3.
I installed the mod before I had any discussions, could this have something to do with it?
